GearEverything that you need for every blade can be achieved through playing the inferno mode and the inferno mode scout missions. I highly recommend that you play through every inferno mode mission and every inferno mode scout mission as you will get all the materials that you need for the gear. Also you will need lots of Regiment Funds in order to buy everything you need to get a blade to reinforced to the max. Here is a list of the gear leveled up to max but not reinforced. Unfortunately, it is practically necessary to getting through some of the tougher missions. There is an ideal way to do this so I will lay out the steps. Buy the lowest version of any blade you wish to reinforce. For the purposes of this guide, we'll say you buy the First Generation Blade and are going to upgrade it into the Perfect Blade.This is he tedious part, in order to reinforce the first generation blade to max, you are going to have to buy 600 dusters, this will take about an hour. You use the dusters because they only require regiment funds and wood, which can be bought, to make. Once you get 100 dusters, reinforce one of the dusters to +99 so you have more room in your inventory. Important: Before you do any of the buying I highly recommend that you unlock the skill "Negotiating Skill" from the Merchant Boss and the Policy "Regiment Store Sale" acquired from Hannes. Even with these things you will need about 3,000,000 regiment funds but without them, you will need over 5,000,000.Once you have made your 600 dusters, use the first 100 to get your First Generation Blade to +99. Then you will need to use a Rainbow drop, acquired from either consecutive log ins on online mode in another mode or from capturing titans. It is now 5 times harder to reinforce your blade so you will need 500 more dusters. Once you do this, Congrats you've reinforced your blade to max and can now upgrade it to the perfect blades. Had you upgraded them to the Perfect Blades first, they would be 15 times harder to reinforce.Quick tips on making Regiment FundsPlay through the inferno mode scout missions as a level 10 Levi. It is relatively easy and you can make about 100,000 Regiment Funds per set of missions if you are getting S ranks. Playing as people not named Levi is not so easy.Sell material you don't need. This with the last one as you will acquire a lot of material that you do not need. When you sell them, ensure that you have the Merchant Negotiation Policy active as you can make more money when you sell.The DLC missions, if you are willing to buy them yield large rewards. You can make significant funds quickly as well as getting materials you will need much faster than you otherwise would.Battle ItemsBattle Items are acquired through, at first, playing through story mode, and mostly through upgrading your Titan Research Room. Here are the battle items GasBladesRestorativeFlash GrenadeFirebombBattle Alert SignalRestraining GunFirecrackerShining PowderSmokescreenDistress Signal (referred to in this guide as SOS flare)Back-up SignalTonicRecommended SetupJusificationThe Battle Alert Signal and the SOS flare are an absolute must. They give you infinite gas/blade durability and reset your buddy cooldown respectively. Blades, Gas and Restoratives are obvious. The flash grenade is useful for stunning titans and getting either out of the danger zone or getting the titan to drop someone they've grabbed. Firebombs and Restraining Gun are a matter of preference. I like capturing titans and I find the firebombs can be useful against some titans. |
